Based upon the revered AMC series Breaking Bad in which a beloved highs chool chemistry teacher becomes a drug kingpin that strikes terror in his business associates, Better Call Saul tells the story of that kingpin’s zany lawyer and documents the process by which he managed to become such a revered attorney in the first place. As such, the series picks up well before he and the aforementioned kingpin’s paths cross and subsequently serves as the origin story of one of television’s most iconic lawyers arguably ever in Saul Goodman. Played by Bob Odenkirk, Goodman has been making audiences laugh one minute and grip on the edge of their seats the very next as he takes them through a series of events that you certainly wouldn’t expect any ordinary lawyer to experience throughout the course of their career. He doesn’t appear to be done quite yet either the official trailer for season six of Better Call Saul ensuring that fans are going to rewarded for remaining patient: though brief, the fifteen second clip utilizes a specific plot reference that any fan of Better Call Saul or its predecessor will be familiar with in highlighting two men brazenly walking through what appears to be a murder scene with absolutely no regard for the life that was lost. Even if you aren’t familiar with the reference the scene is eerie, and if you are then you likely have a slight idea about what could possibly be in store for Saul Goodman. Netflix subscribers and avid fans will just have to remain patient however as the official release date for season six of Better Call Saul remains up in the air.
