Last night (April 10), Rihanna and Lil Uzi hosted one of the most epic dance-off’s of all time on Instagram Live.
The superstar’s Fenty fashion line was hosting a a “Fenty Social Club” which featured sets from Octavian, Kitty Ca$h, Pedro and Stretch Armstrong. Though we were all thoroughly excited to join the Fenty soiree, the hi-light of the night took place when Lil Uzi Vert joined the party, blazing up and turning up to some of his iconic tunes. Unable to resist the positively infectious Vert vibe, RiRi herself joined the virtual fun and initiated the most epic dance battle with the rapper.
Not only was Instagram in shambles, but it is safe to say that the high-profile collaboration broke the internet. With over 60,000 viewers, screen recordings, gifs, and memes of the livestream were immediately circulating on Twitter, and Facebook. Rihanna’s attempt to mirror Uzi’s viral “Futsal Shuffle,” was truly the epitome of our quarantine.
