The Street Fighter movie finally made its debut with the official logo at the Las Vegas Licensing Expo. Even though there is no definite date when the movie will be released, the official logo is confirmation that it is in the works and the fans should be excited. Similar to The Super Mario Bros. Movie and Mortal Kombat, the franchise will attempt to please long-time fans and include new characters as well. The directors working on this project are Danny and Michael Philippou, known for their work in the film horror Talk to Me. All we know is that Ryu, Ken, and Chun Li will make an appearance. It’s been a long time since fans expressed the need for the movie to be made.
The Las Vegas Licensing Expo is a great opportunity for brands to sell their projects and partner with other companies. Legend Entertainment presenting the official logo, the same as the video game, can indicate that this won’t be a traditional action movie. It is possible to think that old, new, and average fans will enjoy this teaser, but would it appeal to movie viewers today? We will see the response in the near future.
We can expect a cinema experience beyond measure, with a lot of material to use. This is not the first time a video game made an attempt to make it a live action movie, as it didn’t gain much attention during those phases. The directors are aimously working hard to give the fans an unforgettable experience. All we can do is wait for the next preview as the year continues.
Other action-packed video games have made their debut recently, such as Mortal Kombat, Dragon Ball Z, and much more.
