‘TMNT: Mutant Mayhem’ MPA Rating Revealed For Animated Action-Comedy

TMNT: Mutant Mayhem has been stamped with a MPA rating, according to Film Ratings. The animated comedy film is officially PG but warns viewers of its “sequences of violence and action, language and impolite material.” The PG rating serves as a reminder of the movie’s family-friendliness. It also helps that Nickelodeon Movies is linked to the film. 

TMNT: Mutant Mayhem will premiere in theaters on August 2.

“After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts,” the logline reads. “Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a notorious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.”
