Yo Gotti and DaBaby recently teamed up to deliver their song, “Drop.” The music video, directed by Arrad, finds the “Rake It Up” star drinking the exclusive Ace of Spades and D’USSE Cognac at a pool party. He and DaBaby also soak in the sun alongside beautiful women rocking the Memphis emcee’s CMG logo on their attire.
Lyrically, the song serves as a tribute to all the ladies out there. They applaud these boss gals for taking care of their business and keeping themselves up to par in the looks department. Like DaBaby says in one line, “I’m in love like T-Pain/I’ma call her my shorty.“
The new music follows CMG record label’s partnership with Interscope Geffen A&M. Both companies will work together to expedite the careers of CMG’s successful roster of artists, including Moneybagg Yo, 42 Dugg, EST Gee, and many more.
“Drop” is Yo Gotti’s first single of 2021.
