On Sunday, 21 Savage put the raps aside to sing classic R&B hits like Usher‘s “Burn” and Destiny Child‘s “Cater 2 U” via Instagram Live. Amid his croon session, Dreamville’s Ari Lennox gave props and others who tuned in made sure to commend Savage on the songs he chose to sing.
According to HotNewHipHop, “The rapper did not hold back one bit while he showed off his impressive repertoire of R&B hits from over the years.” From reading this excerpt, it’s safe to say that Savage held his notes in a karaoke-like fashion.
