The wait is over! Announced yesterday (July 14) via social media, a new single from Normani is on the way! Former Fifth Harmony member has teamed up with Cardi B for her next single, Wild Side.
“Get your coins ready @normani 7/15 9pm PST,” Cardi B captioned a post featuring the cover art work.
Cardi B has been passionately supportive of Normani outside of linking with her for the upcoming track. The award winning rapper took to her Instagram stories after the announcement post to promote the track. “I feel like this is Normani’s big come back,” she said. She continued in the camera saying, “I want you guys to treat it like it’s her birthday … I’m just so proud of her. You guys are going to see Normani in a different light.”
Could this be Normani’s biggest hit yet? This is Normani’s first single since her 2019 Motivation single. She has since been featured on other artists songs, like her most recent work on, Diamonds, with Megan Thee Stallion. The song was recorded for the Birds of Prey soundtrack which released in 2020.
