The social media comedic influencers and long-time couple Chicklet and Maleni are planning to tie the knot.
During their eight-year relationship, the viral duo has made several jokes revolving around marriage, especially Chicklet, who spoofed his girlfriend Maleni with many fake proposals. On June 14, the comedian even pranked Maleni with a “ring” camera on her birthday. Chicklet, however, officially asked for Maleni’s hand in marriage during their trip, which was gifted by his better half, to Greece for his 30th birthday.
“I was so nervous to do this I almost forgot to ask and I didn’t propose in the middle of the heart so we had to redo the pics,” Chicklet stated underneath the proposal video.
With their initial S + M in the background and a heart of candles paired with red roses underneath their feet, Chicklet took to one knee and popped the question. The ring Chicklet chose for Melani is an aqua blue, circle-shaped diamond hand-crafted by celebrity jeweler Greg Yuna.
