Xbox is celebrating the upcoming release of Deadpool & Wolverine, which debuts in theaters on July 26, with a new Series X video gaming console. Fans will only have a chance to own the Deadpool-inspired controller by following Xbox’s X social media page and reposting the tweet about the giveaway. The console mimics Deadpool’s likeness, with red skin and a pair of katanas that the anti-superhero wears on his back.
Xbox is also teaming up with EXG Pro to give fans a special Cable Guys Deadpool Controller Holder. The first 1,000 people to purchase an Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 from the Microsoft store will receive the holder, which contains Deadpool posing on top of the controller holder. This special offer starts on July 22.
Directed by Shawn Levy from a screenplay he co-wrote with Ryan Reynolds, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and Zeb Wells, Deadpool & Wolverine carries an impressive cast list. Aside from Reynolds and Jackman, the film stars Emma Corrin, Matthew Macfadyen, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, and many more. Meanwhile, Paul Wernick, George Dewey, Simon Kinberg, and Jonathon Komack Martin are the movie’s executive producers.
