Star Wars fans don’t have to wait long for another season of The Mandalorian because the production for the third season has just finished! Carl Weathers unveiled the news on Twitter. The Disney+ show hasn’t had a new season since last year. The Mandalorian’s second season carried eight episodes.
The synopsis reads:
“After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The series is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.”
The show stars Weathers and Pedro Pascal, who plays a Mandalorian gunfighter in the galaxy. Back to the Future star Christopher Lloyd is said to have a guest-starring role in the upcoming season.
