HBO has officially released a new trailer for its upcoming documentary on the late rapper Juice WRLD. The movie Juice WRLD: Into the Abyss gives fans a deeper look at his artistry. In addition, it’ll have unreleased tracks from Juice WRLD along with special footage from previous tours, etc. The movie drops later this month in honor of his birthday.
The synopsis reads:
“Juice WRLD: Into the Abyss captures the Chicago native during the last years of his life as he freestyles with friends, collaborates with music producers, and performs in front of audiences worldwide,” reads the official synopsis for the documentary. “The film includes a wealth of never-before-seen footage, including several unreleased tracks, and dozens of industry interviews as it details Juice WRLD’s struggles to reconcile his meteoric rise to fame with underlying mental health issues and a growing dependency on prescription drugs.”
The documentary is directed by Tommy Oliver and is a part of HBO’s Music Box series.
