During a recent sit-down with GQ Magazine for their May 2020 Issue, Kanye West went in-depth about his faith, the YEEZY brand, his life, and his political views on the next election. But most importantly, West expressed that he’s going back to spitting bars, “I was thinking of not rapping again because I rapped for the devil so long that I didn’t even know how to rap for God,” he said. “Then one of my pastors told me, ‘My son just said that he would want a rap album about Jesus from Kanye West.’ He didn’t say, ‘Kanye West, you should do this,’ or ‘you need to do this.’ He just told me something that a child said. And that one thing made the difference.”
Who he’s voting for in this election should be obvious, as the tabloids have shown West and Donald Trump well acquainted on several occasions.
In more recent music news, West dropped his long-awaited album, Jesus Is King, on October 25th, 2019.
