Lil Uzi Vert fans won’t have to wait long for new music. It was confirmed this weekend that the eccentric rapper is be dropping a project titled The Pink Tape before Halloween.
This news came about after the press spotted Vert at a wedding in Philly. Amid their conversation, one of them asked about this upcoming LP. He told the cameras directly that he’s dropping new music soon, saying The Pink Tape is next. When asked about its debut, he replied
“Prolly like three weeks, before Halloween. It’s ‘The Pink Tape.'”
Last week, he was asked about the album’s overall sound, to which he said
“Last time I dropped an album, it did really well. It was actually my highest-selling album. It was a little bit experimental on the mixing part — not the music. This time, I went experimental on the music and traditional on the mixing.
I’m feeling really good … Usually I’ll pump myself up even if I don’t feel really good, and I’ll be like oh this is it just to give myself the extra push. But this time, I think this is it.”
