MMA fighter Miriam Nakamoto is set to star in the upcoming action-romance film, Wildwood. She’ll play a young woman who’s on the run from a few killers and her mother. The killers are after her because they believe she’s a local girl who mysteriously disappeared years before.
Delany Bishop will direct the film. Cara Vescio, best known for her novel series Wasted, has penned the script.
Nakamoto is an eight-time Muay Thai world champion and an MMA fighter who has been fighting professionally since 2005. She’s also known for being on the reality series, Fight Girls.
