Netflix has officially renewed Liz Feldman’s dark yet best friend centered comedy series, Dead to Me, for its third and final season. This news entirely comes as a surprise because the second season released just two months ago! Additionally, Feldman has solidified her bond with the streaming service by signing a multi-year deal for other original series and miscellaneous projects.
Dead To Me is about a newfound widow named Jen, who will stop at nothing to solve her husband’s hit-and-run murder. After attending a meeting held by others who experienced the same kind of loss, she meets a woman named Judy. As time progressed, the two found themselves getting closer, bonding over fine wines, Entenmann’s cookies, and a shared obsession with The Facts of Life. But there’s a slight problem: Judy tries to keep a secret that could destroy Jen’s life.
Will Ferrell and Adam McKay executively produce the show. One of the star leads, Christina Applegate, assists with the production as well. Dead To Me stars other actors like James Marsden, Ed Asner, and Brandon Scott. Freak and Geek‘s Linda Cardellini is also apart of the cast list.
