However, filming for the fifth and final season is set to resume in 2024 after production delays.

In an interview with Deadline, Hawke revealed, “I was crushed. Showrunners Matt and Ross take full responsibility. They have a fantastic of writers, but they are hands-on. They put in a lot of effort and are very serious about maintaining the quality of the writing throughout. Crafting each season is time-consuming, and so is the filming process.“
It has been emphasized that the show is essentially creating eight feature-length series, with each episode being quite lengthy. This revelation should be particularly thrilling for fans of Stranger Things, given the dedication and effort that the cast and production team put into ensuring an enjoyable experience for viewers.
