The sequel has garnered attention by earning $11.8 million domestically in its first three days in theaters- quite impressive! This sequel’s success surpasses Blumhouse and Universal’s horror Night Swim, which earned $11.7 million during its opening weekend in January.
Despite facing criticism and negative reviews from audiences, The Stangers: Chapter 1 stands out as the highest- ranking movie among its counterparts in terms of the Box Office performance.

She went on the interview to mention that the movie relies heavily on familiar touch-stones from the original 2008 film. It has been noted that the original debut of the 2008 film led to a reboot of The Strangers franchise, with the sequel being 2018’s “The Strangers: Prey at Night”.
