XXL’s 2020 Freshman Class has finally been unveiled! Last year, the exclusive music magazine platform announced their picks for 2019 in July, but due to COVID-19, we can assume that they had to wait a while for safety precautions, being that the winners usually take close up shots, etc. Additionally, XXL made the noble choice of choosing 12 artists instead of 11.
XXL dropped the cover for the new “Believe The Future” edition, which announced the new class, and rappers like Jack Harlow, Mulatto, and Polo G appeared on it. Likewise, Fivio Foreign, Rod Wave, Chika, Baby Heem, Lil Tjay, 24KGoldn, Lil Keed, NLE Choppa, and Calboy made the cut.
