Are you ready for some more Doja Cat? The rapper/singer revealed the title and release date for her third studio album. Captioning a picture of the album cover art and listing the tracklist, Doja announced the title as, Planet Her. The album drops later this month on June 25th and we are here for it!
This comes a day after teasing the release of her upcoming single from the album, Need To Know. Doja posted a video clip of the song giving off space vibes with the release date of June 11. The official video can be seen posted to YouTube but when you click on it you’ll get a message stating the video premieres tomorrow. The countdown is on!
The album has many features which can be seen on the track list. Featuring the Weekend, Ariana Grande, Young Thug and SZA. Kiss Me More featuring SZA, which will be on the upcoming album, was released in April. The music video can be seen below.
During a previous interview for V Magazine, Doja stated that Planet Her is, “Giving divine feminine.” She elaborated on her feelings for the album stating,
“It’s people that I respect and I’m extremely excited about having on the album and it’s a full-circle moment for me, basically. Just knowing that I have SZA on it is just sexy. It’s perfect. I feel confident. It doesn’t feel like something out of myself, you know? I feel like I’m doing what I want to do.”
